Since 2020, Papua New Guinea (PNG) has been preparing reports for the UNFCCC under the Paris Agreement’s Enhanced Transparency Framework, with strengthened components for the agriculture and land use sectors. This includes inventories of emissions by sources and sinks and information necessary to track progress against the priority actions identified in PNG’s NDC for these sectors.
