This project supported Mozambique to develop and compile a GHG inventory for dairy and other cattle using the IPCC Tier 2 method. The inventory was compiled using the best available information, including with reference to a regional database of activity data compiled by FANRPAN. An inventory report was produced describing the results, data sources, methods and improvement priorities. The inventory was validated in a national workshop, at which institutional arrangements for ongoing inventory management were also discussed.
