The first global stocktake recognized that the Paris Agreement has driven near-universal progress on climate action, however despite overall progress, the world is not on track meet the long-term temperature goal of the Agreement, reach necessary levels of resilience and mobilize and align necessary financial flows. The NDCs to be submitted in 2025, also known as NDCs 3.0, are to be informed by the outcome of the first global stocktake.
The UNFCCC provides information on a number of events which are coming up before the end of the year relevant to NDC 3.0.
